Due to COVID-19 concerns, the National Museum of the Pacific War is open on a limited basis and by reservation only.  FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

We are currently offering limited timed admission by reservation only Wednesday through Sunday. (We are closed Monday and Tuesday.) Reservations are available four weeks in advance. Please plan to arrive within the first 15 minutes of your selected admission window. Drop-in admission is only as space is available. SCROLL DOWN TO PURCHASE TICKETS.

 

TO REFUND YOUR TICKETS

We understand that plans change. Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance of the timed admission will receive a 100% refund. Tickets are non-refundable if cancellations are made less than 24 hours in advance of the timed admission.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR VISIT TO THE MUSEUM.

Staff and visitors are required to wear masks in the buildings. If you have a favorite mask, please wear it. If not, we will provide you with a disposable mask when you check-in for your visit.

  • In order to maintain social distancing standards, reservation "windows" are limited to 25 guests. 
  • Please note that the Museum is closed for sanitizing on Mondays and Tuesdays. 

We recommend allowing three hours for your visit.

  • Begin your visit by checking into the George H.W. Bush Gallery at 311 East AUSTIN Street, Fredericksburg, TX at your appointed time. 
  • Again, we ask that you arrive within the first 15 minutes of your reserved admissions window. 
  • The Museum campus closes promptly at 5:00 PM. 
  • The galleries will have one-way traffic only. 
  • Several high-touch features and several side galleries are temporarily closed.
  • Galleries are sanitized throughout the day. 

The health and safety of our visitors, members, volunteers, and staff are our first priorities. Although staff will be in the galleries to sanitize high-touch areas, we will remind visitors of our “house rules”:

  • If you are sick, please stay home.
  • Even though we have taken all the recommended precautions, if you feel uncomfortable for any reason, please plan to visit us another day.
  • Look, but don’t touch.
  • Wash your hands, refrain from touching your face, and use hand sanitizer often. We have automated hand sanitizers in the galleries for your convenience.
  • Unless you’re with your family or visiting as a group, leave 6 feet of social distancing space between you and others. Provide space for your fellow guests to pass.
  • There are no in-and-out privileges.
  • There are limited restrooms open at this time.

RESERVATION GUIDELINES

INDIVIDUALS OR SMALL GROUPS

You must reserve online (scroll down to see your options). Ticket sales are subject to availability. Children five and younger are free but still need to have a ticket or reservation. 

MEMBERS

As a benefit of membership, your tickets are complimentary, however, members must still reserve tickets. If a certain number of guests is allowed with your level of membership, you may reserve for and plan to bring those guests in if within the 25-person/half-hour limit. If you are a member, please select the ANF-Member and, as appropriate, Member-Guest option on the ticket menu.

FIRST RESPONDERS AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS

The Museum will offer free admission to medical professionals and first responders and their families. Reservations and advance ticketing are required. Professional identification must be shown at check-in for free admission. 

ACTIVE DUTY/BLUE STAR

Though the National Endowment for the Arts has temporarily suspended the Blue Star Museum program due to COVID-19, the National Museum of the Pacific War continues to honor active duty service members with complementary admission. Please select Active Duty/Blue Star on the menu options. Identification must be shown at check-in for free admission.
